Baby and Junior Sessions

Our Parents and babies group has just started on Tuesdays and is an opportunity for parents to meet, have a coffe and chat. When baby starts to grow they will be able to meet and play with other children and develope social skills. With support from the workers it is hoped that this group could organise trips and activities for themselves and their children.

Junior youth sessions are run Wednesday and Friday 4.30-6.30pm each week for children age 5-11yrs

Each session is run by a team of qualified, experienced play and youth workers.

Activities are designed and delivered to ensure that young people can participate in a range of activities that ensure they are ‘Literate for life’ by arranging our programme around our 5 key themes.

We offer educational support, social and emotinal development, play and physical opportunities as well as cultural and creative activities.

Fridays are Wheeley Friday, children can bring their scooters(manual only) skate boards and roller boots and join in our roller disco while letting off some stee=am.

There is a variety of activities throughout the week to suit any childrens interests, please see our weekly program.

During the warmer months we will take the children outside to our outdoor natural play space and our forest school practitioner will run additional activities of cooking on a fire and outdoor learning on Saturdays.

Subject to successful applications we hope to have holiday schemes and organise local trips for our members over summer.
